GCL Group are currently seeking an Assistant Buyer for their client, a growing Main Building Contractor with offices in North Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Compare rates based on quotations received and obtain best prices before placing orders.
  • Assist with invoices and credit notes.
  • Maintain files and relevant purchase agreements for audits.
  • Research new suppliers.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a similar procurement role.
  • Preference for people with experience working for a construction company.
  • Previous purchasing experience required.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Full driving license.
